Sharing goals with those you trust is a powerful tool to help you accomplish your goals. When you share your goals, two things tend to happen:
1. Accountability – You become accountable to those with whom you have shared your goal(s). Those individuals can assist you with attaining your goal by checking in on your progress. By sharing with those you trust, you not only become accountable to them, but you also become accountable to yourself.
2. Unexpected Help May Be Provided – Others with whom you have shared your goals may have or find ways of helping you accomplish your goals. Those who care about you want to help you attain your goals. They may have connections with people or organizations that can assist in these efforts.
