Simply having a desire to accomplish a goal isn’t enough. Successfully completing a goal requires persistence and endurance to overcome hurdles and difficulties that might be placed in your way. Motivated individuals tend to push aside obstacles and plan strategies that encourage successful outcomes. There are three elements of motivation that, when applied to a goal, will assist in initiating an action, overcoming obstacles that may arise, and providing strength to endure the pursuit. These elements are activation, persistence, and intensity.
